Impostor Syndrome said I could not do it. But I proved it wrong. Since 2020, I have dedicated myself to understanding how others perceive self-promotion. By seeing things from their perspective, I have worked to challenge negative stereotypes and encourage individuals to acknowledge their achievements and build their confidence. Being nominated for this award is a dream come true, and I can not wait to share my story and inspire others. Your vote will help me continue to empower individuals and foster inclusivity. What does being nominated for this award mean to you?

Feels Awe-mazing. Being a finalist for this award means that my contributions to the #IAmRemarkable Initiative are being recognized. The notion about "Giving back" fueled the journey from being a silver tier to Platinum tier #IAmRemarkable Facilitator. This is a testament to the personal and professional growth I have experienced. By helping others challenge societal biases around self-promotion and break down modesty norms, I have gained myself.

Tell us a bit more about how you’re making an impact through #IAmRemarkable workshops

One of the participants I worked with used the #IAmRemarkable framework to empower himself in his remote village where he leads a small tech community. As a result, a great number of his community members gained the confidence to pursue their goals, applied for remote tech entry roles, and become active community member - passionate about giving back.
Another experienced a quantum leap in her career after attending one of my workshops. Helen has also become a mentor and role model for young women aspiring to pursue careers in STEM. She shares her experiences and encourages others to overcome obstacles and embrace their potential.
