As a passionate #IAmRemarkable facilitator, I am dedicated to empowering individuals from all walks of life.  I always loved contributing to the community I belong to, in any way possible. Over my 16-year career at Dell Technologies, I’ve led impactful initiatives like the "Dell Technologies Girl Empowerment Program" and the "One Million Trees Plantation." Through these programs, I’ve connected rural students and farmers with resources and mentorship, bridging knowledge gaps and providing opportunities for holistic growth. I engage volunteers and mentors, leveraging the power of community to drive positive change, especially for female students in rural areas. My work reflects my commitment to fostering inclusivity and empowerment. #IAmRemarkable became yet another way for me to connect with, get inspired from and pay forward to many people including those from under-represented groups and follow my new found love for the art of self promotion.

What does it mean to you to be a finalist for this award?

Being a finalist for the People’s Choice Award at this year’s #IAmRemarkable Awards is an incredibly humbling and rewarding experience. This recognition reflects the power of the #IAmRemarkable movement and how deeply it resonates with communities, especially those I’ve had the privilege of working with. For me, it means that the work I’ve passionately pursued—empowering individuals to embrace their uniqueness, shattering self-limiting beliefs, and fostering inclusivity—has made a real difference. It reaffirms my commitment to championing others, especially women and underrepresented voices, to help them realize their full potential. This journey has been one of growth, purpose, and connection.

Tell us a bit more about how you’re making an impact through #IAmRemarkable workshops.

In one of my face-to-face #IAmRemarkable workshops, an experienced professional hesitated to speak, waiting for others to share first. When she finally spoke, she admitted to having a fear of going first and realized during the session that speaking up about her achievements was something she should have done much earlier. The workshop helped her recognize the importance of advocating for herself. Six months later, she reached out to share that she had received an in-role promotion, crediting her ability to confidently discuss her accomplishments and readiness for more challenging responsibilities with her manager. This transformation underscores the lasting impact of the #IAmRemarkable initiative in empowering individuals to embrace self-advocacy.
