What does it mean to you to be a finalist for this award?

I am honored and proud to be a finalist for the People's Choice Award! Since attending my first #IAmRemarkable workshop, I felt inspired and driven to share the experience with others.  It is a fulfilling part of my life journey to empower others. Since becoming a Global Lead for Dell Technologies, I have been able to lead others in their journey of doing the same and together we have delivered to over 11,000 team members.  I am profoundly changed by the experience of others and being able to give others the chance to make a difference in the lives of many many more! Thank you for this amazing opportunity to live out my purpose!

Tell us a bit more about how you’re making an impact through #IAmRemarkable workshops.

For facilitators, I’ve created a safe, supportive community to help them live out part of their life’s purpose. Many have overcome fear and anxiety, improved their engagement skills, and gained confidence to help others do the same. Facilitators often say delivering workshops is a highlight of their week and brings a renewed sense of accomplishment to their daily lives.

For participants, every story is special. The most impactful workshops are often the most emotional, like one where a woman, initially hesitant to share, was overcome with emotion. With support and encouragement, she shared for the first time and expressed gratitude for the safe space, saying she had never spoken positively about herself before. She now feels more confident and supported in celebrating her achievements.
